So it seems my new hobby these days is moving furniture. I keep moving dressers from room to room, upstairs to downstairs, downstairs to up, etc. Since we just moved here last November, I haven’t really settled into this house. It takes a bit (or a lot of) moving things around the house to see what works. And finally, I figured it out. We have this room off of our dining room that the previous owners called a “solarium”. It has vaulted ceilings, 2 skylights, and it is beautiful in there when it is sunny out. The previous owners had plants hanging everywhere in there, but I’m not good at plants. We started off using it as an office, our desk was there, but we use a laptop so we never actually sat out there to use the desk. So I decided we should have it as a sitting room, to read and enjoy our coffee in the morning. So we moved the desk out of there, and I set up a bookshelf, one Sunday morning we decided to sit out there and enjoy our morning coffee and read to the kids. Well that lasted about 10 minutes (if that), there is a spiral staircase that leads to our back door from the “solarium”, so it is not very kid friendly. And since we never sat out there, the monsters boys were acting liked caged animals that had finally been set free.
So I have decided to claim the room as mine, a “mom cave” if you will. I had been trying to set up my laundry room (in the basement) as my craft room, but I found I would never use it. I would drag my projects out of there to work on them, or set up my sewing machine on the dining room table. So I am using this room as my craft room, reading room, beauty salon; my cave.

If there is anyone out there reading, a new little thing I’m going to try is having a “Stuff I love Sunday”. I will post about stuff I love! haha pretty straight forward.
p.s. I picked Sundays to do it, because I LOVE Sundays!! It’s my favorite day of the week!
