Wow, I guess I’ve been busy… not sure what I’ve been up to, but I know that I haven’t been posting.  Anyways one little project I just did was putting scrabooking paper on the walls in my craft room.  When we moved in there was already drywall on the walls in there, but it hasn’t been taped or mudded (sp?) yet.  There are some big holes in the drywall that would have to be fixed too.  We don’t want to spend the money on getting someone in to finish it, so I’ve been thinking of different ways I could finish the walls.  I thought about getting beadboard panelling, because I love the look of it, but adding up the cost it was gonna be pricey.  And we have other priorities for our money right now, so I came up with the idea of putting up my scrapbook paper that I don’t use.
This is the shape the drywall is in…
And this is what I did, I love the looks of it!! Especially for a craft room…
Don’t mind the mess, I had to pile things up on the desk to move some furniture.  I plan to buy that mactac clear stuff to put over it, they have it at the dollar store, and I thought it would help protect the paper.  I originally wanted to have a super girly, pink craft room (since I’m the only female in the house with the exception of our dog).  I will settle for this fun craft room instead!!
Anyways in other news tomorrow is my husband and I’s 5th wedding anniversary.  I can’t believe it has been 5 years already!  Looking back, we have done a lot in the last 5 years.  We owned a house and sold it to build a house.  And then we sold that house and bought this house.  We moved a total of 8 times in 5 years, between selling and moving out of houses, and moving into new houses, and moving into rentals while waiting for our house to be built.  We got a dog a week after our wedding and we now have two little boys, one two year old, and one 1 year old.  CRAZY!!  Also looking at jobs, (I was an Aesthetician in my pre-children life) I worked at a place for someone, left there and moved to a place where I rented my space, to moving my own business into our new house we built.  Anyways sorry to bore you with that I was just reflecting, and got a little carried away.  On that note I will leave you with some pictures of our wedding day.
It was a fun night!! To many more years!!!
